Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, please boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate by circling Yes to the ‘Gift Aid’ question above. Gift Aid is reclaimed by Kyaninga CDC Trust at no cost to you, from the tax you pay for the tax year your donation is made.

By circling Yes to the ‘Gift Aid’ option, I confirm that I’m a UK taxpayer and want Kyaninga CDC Trust to reclaim Gift Aid on the donation detailed above, and any donations I make in the future to Kyaninga CDC Trust. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my charitable donations in the current tax year, it is my responsibility to pay any difference.  I will notify Kyaninga CDC Trust if my circumstances, including address, change.

Data Protection

We use the details you have provided to process your sponsorship, including claiming any Gift Aid from HMRC, and to communicate with you about the sponsorship scheme and KCDC.  We never share your details with other organisations for their marketing purposes.

Sponsorship Terms & Conditions

Payment

We ask that you pay your sponsorship by setting up a standing order or regular payment from your bank using the following details:

Kyaninga CDC Trust
Co-operative Bank PLC
Sort Code: 08-92-99
Account Number: 65889994

Your Sponsorship Commitment:

We encourage sponsors to support the same child throughout the course of their education for as long as they are able. This allows children to continue their education uninterrupted and facilitates a relationship between the sponsor and the sponsored children. To ensure uninterrupted services to your sponsored child, a minimum sponsorship commitment of 12 months is required.

If at any point after the initial 12-month period you decide to discontinue your sponsorship, we ask for 2 months advance notice. Contact us by email or telephone to provide notice.

Assignment of Sponsored Children:

The process of assigning a child can be done through discussion or we can simply allocate you a child based on our knowledge of which families are in greatest need. If you have any preference regarding gender, age or type of disability please let us know at the initiation of our agreement. It is important to us that you can relate to the child you are sponsoring.

Communication with Sponsored Children:

You can send a short-written message to your sponsored child if you wish. The easiest way to do this is by email, we will print your message and read it to them.

If you have circled yes to receive updates about your sponsored child, we will send news, photos and your sponsored child’s end of year school report.

The sponsorship scheme is administered in the United Kingdom by the trustees, all funds donated are held as “restricted” for the education of sponsored children.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMMITTING TO IMPROVING THE LIFE OF A CHILD WITH DISABILTITIES!
